Hi,It would be nice to add an alpha channel for image backgrounds in videos. Instead of a qucik switch from a step to an image with solid background. It would also be nice to be able to fade in/out images. I think it would make the content flow more seamlessly and make it appear less choppy.
Currently the virtual assistant only appears upon request. It would be useful to be able to remind users of an action they need to take, via a pop up. eg: we want to ensure our users stop creating duplicate contacts. A pop up on the Contact screen - or perhaps when the click New Contact - to remind them to search for a contact before creating one, would be really helpful for our data. We have done training, but still have the issue.

Dear Community,Replay gives Clicklearn users the posibility to test for proces step discrepancies caused by fo example new version updates. Such visibility of discrepancies/missing info might also be nice to have after you finish a recording in Clicklearn for those steps that miss a field description/tooltip in IFS so that you can easily identify what you need to alter to have clearly described steps.Example: you click on a Navigator menu item and you see that it has a clear description in IFS, but when viewing the corresponding step while editing it only presents the step as “click on the input field find page” even though it was not “find page” that you clicked on while you were recording steps, it was “Employee File”. In such a case, a highlight for that step with a small info message stating that the input field description and tool tip in IFS are missing would be helpful so you can edit the instruction text of the step to reflect the correct content. Hello, We would like to suggest date filters be added to the Dashboard metrics in Attain as well as on the portal. Right now we can only choose from Week, Month, Quarter or Year. We would like to put a specific timeframe. Like July 1 through today. It looks like this is available in the Content Tracking menu in the portal for reference. Thank you,Jay
Dear Community,As probably most of you know, sometimes the TTS voices mispronounce a sentence. When this happens the need arises to customize the pronunciation of this sentence so that the pronunciation is correct. The TTS speech editor certainly fulfils this need well. However, in my humble opinion, it would be nice to have a tooltip of some sort that contains information about the different punctuation characters and what kind of effect each will have on the pronunciation of the TTS voice. For example:the “.” (or “period character”), will create a long pause in between letters separated by a space.another example is that using multiple “ “ (s p a c e s) will result in slightly slower and more emphasized pronunciation of the letters or the words in between the multiple spaces.Finally, a hyphen will also create a deliberate short pause between two letters/words. It would be amazing if we could do a find & replace for text across all our recordings. For example if I want to change the word “student” to “leaner”, it would be so much quicker than going into every recording and manually finding and replacing the word. This isn’t for clickable fields - just purely text - so it’s not possible to make these changes using the template. Thanks. :)
It would be amazing if we had the option to duplicate existing segments in order to create new segments that we can then make slight changes to.This would be a big time saver for those of us with large portals, as we wouldn’t need to set up everything from scratch each time we create a new segment. Hi guys, I want to work out the total duration of the videos I’ve made in ClickLearn and currently it’s a very tedious manual process of opening every Show Me vid for every recording on my portal and writing it down in a spreadsheet. It would be infinitely helpful if we could see the video duration as a column when looking at a folder of Recordings on Attain. Also if there was a calculation on the folder for total duration of the videos within that folder, that would be above and beyond my expectations! Screenshot of current list of columns:
We are sharing only specific training modules with specific customers. There are processes we only wish to share with some customers but not others (they must pay for more access). For this, we have created customer-specific Segments, and we provide the customer with their specific Segment URL. What I’m wondering is… what’s to stop them from just deleting the end part of the URL where it states the Segment? If they do that, then they essentially “unlock” the entire portal and all its content. My suggestion is to either:Make segment URLs less obvious, perhaps scrambling the characters or integrating them into the URL rather than putting them at the end.Or allow us to allocate specific users to specific segments, so that even if they delete the Segment part of the URL, they can only see what we want them to see.
Hi there, in the latest release the group title is by default narrated in the video material. Which is great. And it's possible to exclude it as well. But the material we created (200 rec) so far, is based on the title NOT read out loud. Now the group titles need to be manually excluded from the recordings. Is there a work around? Hi guys, It would be good if we could click & drag to move section headers in our recordings. The dots are there that make it look like it’s something you can do, but you can’t: Currently, if you want to move a section header, you have to delete it and then recreate it at the new place in the recording. Hi guys! We are definitely going to use the odata feed to track who has passed which recordings, so don’t worry about that, that’s going to be awesome from a reporting standpoint. However, from an end-user’s point of view, it would be ultra helpful if, once you have passed the Test Me on a recording, if there was some kind of visual indication to show that it’s been completed.For example, some sort of overlay image that appears on top of the recording icons (please excuse my MS Paint skills): This would be a massive help for our end users who are working their way through our content, and may not remember which ones they’ve already passed. I was asked to add my question as an idea and feature request.The original question… I enjoy watching Morten’s corner and love that Morten is able to record himself using CL. As training new employees, I would like to be able to record myself using CL instead of having to personally train each employee.Is this a software you use within CL that allows you to record yourself or do you use something else?REPLY...May I kindly suggest you consider posting this as a feature request. I think you both have some good reasons behind, to want this to be available in the product. Hi team,I do not believe this is current functionality, so I’d like to request that a button be added during editing to highlight X lines and export to new recording.The scenario has come up where we have a very long recording with numerous headings to break it down. However it is very long and takes a while to load. We would therefore like to split this recording out into multiple separate recordings. Thank you,Brodie
Setting up a recording template and steps in the Language Editor is great when creating lots of recordings.However, what about if you need to edit the template retroactively? I’ve just spent all morning going into every single recording to slightly change the wording in the template we’d created and recorded with initially. This a real pain. The option to edit the template so that it applies to existing recordings would be a really useful addition. Thanks :)

Having automated testing scheduled in background is a useful feature. On today this needs to be done via ClickLearn console which requires technical skills to do so.Can we have this scheduling functionality embedded in the UI of Attain? This will make it much easier accessible.

Hi,As an author, i would like to be able to assign numbers to the recordings so that they can be automatically ordered numerically in the structure. As an author, I would like to be able to drag and drop recordings on the Recordings page within a folder to set them up in a specific order so that they are automatically re-numbered.As an author, I would like the recordings to appear in the numerical order in the portal and display the assigned number, so that users will complete the recordings following the numerical order.
Good afternoon CL ! While reviewing our 600+ page SOP on the entire content, I had an idea: what about adding a dynamic custom coversheet to the pdf’s to enhance the value of these downloads? It would be nice to see a cover page with the company logo, title of the site, date published, and number of pages (plus other relevant content configuration) as needed. When I look at the page 1 here, it doesn’t describe what I am looking at before jumping right into the table of contents. This would be a nice value add. Of course I can add one myself to the pdf and repackage but would be nice to have this feature in this amazing software too!
Hi! We report on our users based on what Segment URLs they are using to access our learning content.I want to give someone one of my Segment links, but I can’t remember it off the top of my head. After Publishing, it gives you a nice little list of all your Segment URLs, but there must be a quicker way to get to it without publishing the Project first? Is there any other place in ClickLearn Attain that I can find this list? The “Share Structure” option on the Structure tab seems to only share the whole portal or sections (not Segments) of it. Thanks!
In the Assets Directory for Attain, documents that are uploaded cannot be previewed unless you download the file. To help quickly identify these files, an enhancement would be allowing different views like they have in ‘File Explorer’ (E.g. Details view, Icon view, etc.) or have a preview panel on the side. Similarly, in SharePoint online, a preview of a file can also be added by adding an ‘Image’ column. Thank you!Nickia
