Your logos, colors and fonts should be used whenever possible, this means extending your brand throughout your recorded and published materials.    How do I brand my Content? All you need to do is send the required information to our Customer Care team and just like that your customized templates are done in 3-5 business days.  If you haven’t taken advantage of this service, you are missing out on ensuring your brand is represented every time you produce and publish your content.  What if I have already completed my recordings?  The good thing about ClickLearn is that it does not require that you recreate content.  All you will need to do is upload your newly customized template and with a single click your content is produced using your logos, colors and fonts.  So, continue recording while your templates are being created!  What if I want to change something?  You may want to make some changes to the voice, language, etc. after receiving the template, and that is easily done by navig

Number your steps 1, 2, 3...

Did you know that you can? add step numbers to your ClickLearn recording(s) by modifying the ‘Recording Template’   1.  Tools->Preferences->Templates->Recording Template 2.  Expand PROCESS INSTRUCTION 3.  Click on STEPNUMBER 4.  Replace Language Independent [0] with %1.   5.  SAVE As 6.  Create Content->Produce

Steps are missing from my recording

Did you know that you can? Use an external mouse to resolve steps not being recorded when using a laptop If you find that you have completed a recording and the steps of the recording are missing this may be a result of using a laptop’s touchpad/mousepad to complete the recording.  We have found that some laptops will need to use an external USB mouse to create ClickLearn content. Of course, if this does not resolve the issue submit a ticket to ClickLearn Customer Care!  support@clicklearn.com

Add a Bulleted List to a Note

Did you know that you can? Add a bulleted list to your ClickLearn Studio Notes Currently you will need to create the Bulleted Note in Word and copy the information to your ClickLearn Studio Note. 1.  Create the Bulleted Note in Word 2.  Create a Note in ClickLearn Studio 3.  Copy the Bulleted Note that you created in Word and paste it in your ClickLearn Studio Note 4.  SAVE changes

How to remove Show Me, Try Me or Test Me recordings

Did you know that you can? Remove the Show Me, Try Me or Test Me recordings 1.  Tools->Preferences->Templates->Recording Template 2.  Expand PROCESS INSTRUCTION 3.  Click on OBJECTORDER 4.  Remove either the JSV, (Show Me), JSV_2(Try Me) and/or the JSV_3 (Test Me) from the listed items below BLOCKVIDEO,JSV,JSV_2,JSV_3,WMV,SWF,XAP,BLOCKEND,BLOCKDOWNLOAD,PDF,DOCX,PPTX,BLOCKEND,BLOCKASSIST,BLOCKTOC 5.  SAVE As 6.  Produce and/or Produce and Publish NOTE:  JSV  is the Show Me video JSV_2 is the Try Me video JSV_3 is the Test Me video

Manage Your User's List

Did you know that you can?   Manage your users if you are the Admin to your ClickLearn Portal. Login to the portal https://portal.clicklearn.dk/ with your credentials and click the link ‘Users’.  You can now manage your users. (Create New, Modify Existing, Reset Password, Send License Email etc….)  One of three roles can be assigned to a user. (Customer-Admin, Customer-Author or Customer-EndUser).   NOTE - Ensure that you send the new user their temporary password and if the user will be an Admin or an Author you will also send the license email.

Publishing content to a Web serverTutorial

So you want to publish your shelf and copy it to your Web Server  Produce your Shelf in ClickLearn Studio  Creating Books and Shelves  Initially you will need to create your recordings, books and shelves in ClickLearn Studio. When you produce your shelf, a folder structure and a main index file is created (the folder will be shared across your network’s authenticated user groups.)    Now you need to share the Shelf’s folder on your network linking it to the Shelf.htm file using IIS.      Open the ‘Default Document’ setting.  Select ‘Add ‘.  This is where you will add the .htm file that you created when producing your shelf.      Enter your Shelf’s .htm file name.      Right click on the website->select ‘Manage Website’-> ‘Restart’.      Finally, from your portal, inside help, etc. you can link them to the http://server/helpportal.htm.
