This article explains how to create a learning portal in a day. In this example, the learning portal provides training for MicrosoftTeams with 20 recordings divided up into 8 categories in Danish and German.
To create a learning portal:
-
Create an overview of the content of your portal and categorize the content into overall groups.
-
Structure your recording process so it follows a flow of processes.
Note
Make sure you know the processes that you are about to record or have someone who does ready to show you.
-
Create the shelf and name your Learning Portal.
-
Create the books and add them to your shelf. The books are the categories you identified in step 1.
Important
Before you start recording, ensure your desktop only contains data that can be shared with your audience.
-
Start the recording, accordingly to your plan.
-
After you have recorded a process, edit each recording and then add them to the relevant books
-
When you have finished recording all your processes, replay your recordings to remove any shadows, tooltips, and popup notes.
-
Clean your system environment form everything that has been created and added during the recording process.
-
Replay the recording for each of your language versions.
Note
Remember to clean your system in between languages.
-
Produce the shelf in the recorded languages, publish, and share with your end-users.
