About
What happened in Digital Adoption last year? Did your success get mucked up by multiple solutions, AI, or the Digital Adoption Triangle? Get to the bottom of it with ClickLearn CEO Joachim Schiermacher.
Enterprises were in a general state of confusion when it came to digital adoption. Digital adoption success might have been stymied in a mire of Multiple Available Solutions, Artificial Intelligence, and the Digital Adoption Triangle.
1. Multiple Available Solutions
In 2022, we saw a trend of both enterprise software vendors and digital adoption solution providers offering solutions.
This created a difficult landscape with multiple authoring tools for the customers.
2. Artificial Intelligence
Suppliers tried to differentiate with minor improvements to features in 2022 (like AI). This turned out to be a major bust for users.
As some vendors tried to raise the bar with these specific features, we found out that it is not really working at a practical level and that it's still relevant only at the investor level.
The overall takeaway is that it doesn't really matter (at this point) if you choose something with AI or not.
3. The Digital Adoption Triangle of Vendors-Partners-Clients
Instead of using 1 DAS, companies tended to have at least one from a vendor and very often their own tools on top of that.
The pile-up of solutions led to a growing Digital Adoption Triangle between vendors, partners, and clients. Because the tooling underneath is different for every application, individuals become confused with applications that can't talk to each other.
In the end, in 2022 many users were lost in inter-application processes.
