Configuration Guide (Part 1 of 2)
UXP/UAC is a side panel that opens inside your business application - recordings, AI chat, and notifications right next to the screen users are working on.
The first thing users see. Shows recordings and content sources set up in ClickLearn Attain, based on the current selection in the application.
Finds relevant content based on where the user is, using two layers: user context (their profile) and app context (current screen).
Auto-surfaces recording suggestions for the current field or section. Users can watch a Video or launch Assist mode for interactive guidance. Inside Help shows field-level explanations.
Users ask questions in plain language and get answers from recordings and PDFs. Use 'New Topic' to start a fresh conversation.
Displays notifications set up by administrators in ClickLearn Attain, keeping users informed without leaving the application.
The UXP/UAC panel doesn't appear automatically - it needs to be switched on inside ClickLearn Attain. This section covers how to turn it on and customize its appearance.
Go to Settings โ Publishing template โ Entity, and turn on the User Experience Panel option. Make sure Project Requirements and Segmentation are set up first.
The Identity component lets you change the panel's colour to match your brand. Click the colour option, pick a colour, confirm, and save. Updates immediately for all users.
Segmentation controls who sees what inside the UXP/UAC panel. Assign segments to recordings so each user only sees content relevant to their role.
Open your project, click Structure, and drag the recordings you want into the structure panel. Anything not added here won't be available to users.
Select a recording, click Advanced, create a new segment (e.g. 'Lead' or 'Account'), tick the checkbox to assign it, then save. Repeat for each recording.
With recordings structured and segmented, connect them to the UXP/UAC panel and map segments to the actual user roles in your application.
In the UXP/UAC configuration, choose your content source: Current Structure (own project) or External Structure (another project). Drag Current Structure into the panel to begin mapping. Click Add Row to start.
In a CRM, go to Settings โ Advanced Settings โ Security โ Users, find a user, open their profile, and click Manage Roles. Copy role names exactly as they appear.
For each row, type the user role name and select the matching segment from the dropdown (e.g. Sales Enterprise โ 'Account', Marketing Manager โ 'Lead'). Click Insert to apply.
Use the More menu next to each source to Edit, Move up/down, or Remove. Always save when done.
The AI Chat tab works best with rich content. In addition to recordings, add PDF documents as knowledge sources - product manuals, process guides, or policy documents.
Go to Assets โ New โ Import assets. Browse to the project containing your PDFs, tick the files you want, click Place, then Confirm. Your PDFs are now in the asset library.
In User Experience Configuration, open the Additional AI Sources tab. Drag and drop the Assets block into the panel, tick the PDFs you want the AI to use, then click Insert.
Use the More menu next to each source to Edit (swap the file), Move up/Move down (change order), or Remove entirely. Save changes when done.

From the publication page, click View (in the Action column) and log in with your credentials. If the screen shows 'Assist Configuration is missing', click Copy Link in publishing โ go to Assist configuration โ paste the URL into the Link field โ click Go!
