I have been recording content for several months.  Suddenly I can no longer record.  I get the red text error message about needing to install the extension to my browser.   But I have the extension installed.  I have removed the extension and readded it.  I have logged out and logged back in.  I have involved our IT dept and they are at a loss as well.

I assume that this has to do with the latest release but I don’t know how to fix it.

sorry to see you are having issues recording. 

 

The extension depends on a registry entry that refers to the native messaging host installation, sometimes registry cleanup tools or similar may remove this.

 

I have attached a guide that will reapply these registry settings and allow you to record again, please note that they do require admin rights, so you may need your local it to assist you.

 

you are also very welcome to send a mail to support and we can fix it together on a meeting, in which you also bring in a it support person if you do not have the necessary permissions to modify the registry yourself.
