Publish Content has stopped working

I have been waiting for my Project to publish and it has been showing the same screen for over 2 hours. Yesterday it took less than 45 minutes.

 

I cannot cancel out of the process.

Thanks for doing that, I have been able to publish the content successfully.

Have you any idea what went wrong? I would like to try and avoid that happening again.
