We are pleased to announce the release of Attain version 12.1.67.0. This update delivers greater control over content organization within the Structure view, alongside critical fixes for the recording editor, settings, and the User Experience Platform (UXP).

The release centers on four major themes: enhanced control in the structure view, visual accuracy in the recording editor, reliable UXP performance, and refined settings logic. For authors and administrators, these enhancements provide the tools needed to manage content visibility more effectively and ensure a smoother playback experience for end-users.

Greater Control Over Content Structure

We have upgraded the Structure view to give authors more flexibility in how they organize and present content:

  • Hide and Exclude: You can now hide and exclude specific components directly within the structure. Importantly, these choices will now accurately reflect in the published content, ensuring end-users only see what you intend them to see.

  • Inside Help Management: Forms and Entities associated with "Inside Help" are no longer static; they can now be viewed and moved around within the structure, allowing for better organization.

  • Stability: We resolved an issue where the Studio would become unresponsive while working within the structure view.

Visual Accuracy in Recordings and Editor

The Recording Editor has been polished to ensure data and images are displayed correctly:

  • Date Formats: The last modified date for tasks and activities is now displayed in the correct format.

  • Image Fidelity: When adjusting the crop area of an instruction image to "Entire Screen," the editor now correctly shows the full image. Additionally, failed replays now properly display the step's image in the replay experience.

  • Clean Interface: In the new skin, we fixed a visual bug where the video title was displayed twice.

UXP Stability and Integration

We have strengthened the User Experience Platform to ensure seamless interaction with business systems:

  • Connectivity Fixes: We resolved a network error that appeared while playing videos in some cases, as well as an authentication error users faced when logging into UXP via Acumatica.

  • System Interaction: The space button now functions correctly on the business system after a video has been played in UXP.

  • Configuration: Configuring the external URL no longer displays a language code error.

Refined Settings and Publishing

Publishing settings have been tuned for better consistency:

  • Template Accuracy: Changes made in the Language template editor are now immediately reflected in the preview.

  • Scope Logic: If a scenario is excluded from the IFS Scope CSV, that component is now correctly removed from the structure.

  • Question Management: The "Disable all questions" feature in the publishing template now correctly applies to all video formats.
