We are pleased to share the latest update to the platform. This release introduces the ability to generate and clear the LIUP for selected elements, a tabbed layout for element properties, Excel export of project data with custom templates, and a redesigned publishing page. A total of 23 issues were addressed in this release, with particular attention given to recordings, localization, and publishing.
- LIUP can now be generated and cleared for selected elements in the structure.
- Recording, structure, assets, and tasks data can now be downloaded to an Excel sheet using your own templates.
- The publishing page has been redesigned and now displays the configured UXP fallback links.
ENHANCEMENTS
Structure
- You can now generate and clear the LIUP for selected elements in the structure.
- The properties of an element in the structure have been split into multiple tabs for easy access.
Settings
- You can now download recording, structure, assets, and tasks related data to an Excel sheet, and also create your own templates for how the data should be downloaded.
Publishing
- The publishing page has been redesigned to make efficient use of the screen space. This page will now also display the configured UXP fallback links.
FIXES
Login
- If the FIPS setting was on, password reset was not possible in Studio. This issue is now fixed.
Recordings
- In some cases, the recording got corrupted when the replay experience was closed. This issue is now fixed.
- Adding metadata with no value to a note displayed the technical name of the metadata. This issue is now fixed, and the field will appear empty.
- Editing a question in the flow editor that was added in a different language crashed the application. This issue is now fixed.
- Adding an image to an asset displayed "Asset missing" in the preview. This issue is now fixed.
- Narration in some languages had issues when metadata was added to the note. This issue is now fixed.
Structure
- The application crashed if a segment was selected using the space bar. This issue is now fixed.
Localization
- Localizing via the widget skipped some steps. This issue is now fixed.
- Localizing from the Edit Step dialog displayed "No Translation" even though the text existed. This issue is now fixed.
- The count of translated items displayed in the widget did not match the actual translations. This issue is now fixed.
Publishing
- Warnings related to the narrator voice configured in individual notes will now display the Area as "Recording" instead of "Publishing Setting".
- The count under a section in the published content will now consider only recordings, assets, and hyperlinks. The count is recursive, so items in sub-sections are included as well.
- In some cases, the hyperlink in the PDF did not align with the text it was configured for. This issue is now fixed.
- In PPT, when numbering was configured for steps, numbered lists in a group displayed two sets of numbers. This issue is now fixed, and the content should be republished.
Dashboard
- OData did not contain the LIUP for hyperlinks. This is now implemented.
Settings
- The language template editor showed the yellow dot in the tree view but not in the grid view. This issue is now fixed.
- Promoting a language template to the company level did not work. This issue is now fixed.
UXP
- The subtle notification did not dismiss on the first try and required two tries. This issue is now fixed.
- The UXP Teams bot frequently logged out of the content and required reconfiguration. This issue is now fixed.
Portal
- The recordings page for local companies has been deprecated.
- Downloading ClickOnce from a local company portal is now working again.
Connector
- The generic connector has been improved to support JD Edwards (Oracle).
- Tabs on the Change Order page in SAP Fiori were not recognized by the connector. This issue is now fixed, and the steps should be re-recorded.
Internal
- In the admin portal, you now have an option to add dummy tracking data to a project and use it for demonstrating the dashboard (Global Settings >> Content History Data).
