This release introduces a major architectural upgrade with backend improvements to how projects and recordings are managed.
Projects must be upgraded to support the new version; opening a project triggers a one-time upgrade process.
One-time actions required:
-
Project upgrade happens once per project.
-
Recordings and test files will prompt a save (even without changes) to ensure compatibility.
-
If multiple users open a project simultaneously, only the first user completes the upgrade, and others must retry after it finishes.

FIXES
Projects
-
List of projects loads slowly in case of a long list of projects. This is now optimized to load faster.
Recording
-
In some cases, the screenshot of the instruction step was not visible in the video. This issue is now fixed.
-
If a step has two tags captured, and placing it next to another did not write a space in case of the video subtitle and narration. This issue is now fixed.
-
Using the mute button in video editor preview turned off the narration in every preview of that recording. This has been fixed and the setting will be limited to the video editor only.
Settings
-
Language template editor changes did not affect the other projects after promoting them to the company level. This issue is now fixed.
-
Applying the new video skin for some languages displayed a white screen and not the video. This issue is now fixed.
UXP/UAC
-
The UAC did not appear in IFS in some cases. This issue is now fixed and the content should be republished to see the result.
-
UXP was not visible in redwood UI of Oracle. This issue is now fixed and reproduce your content to see the effect.
-
UAC did not appear in IFS when published with only German language in the project. This issue is now fixed.
Connector
-
The connector did not detect dropdowns in Salesforce. This issue is now fixed.
-
Annotated screenshots in IFS failed to capture the labels of company details in some screens. This issue is now fixed.
-
Replay failed on new button and some other dropdowns in IFS when tried in the German language. These issues are now fixed.
-
In IFS, recording bookmarks was causing issues. This is now fixed, and a re-record of the step is required to fix the issue.
This release marks a meaningful step forward in the platform's maturity - one that lays the groundwork for faster, more collaborative, and more resilient authoring experiences going forward. The architectural changes are designed to be invisible in your day-to-day workflows, while the performance gains and stability improvements will be immediately felt. As always, we appreciate your continued feedback and encourage you to share your experience in the community. Happy authoring!
