We are pleased to share the latest update to the platform. This release brings language specific insights to the content dashboard, keeps users on the same recording or section when switching languages in the content portal, and introduces a new setting to skip deleted steps in videos. A total of 11 issues were addressed in this release, with particular attention given to recordings, UXP/UAC, and connectors.
- Language-specific insights are now available on the content dashboard.
- Switching languages in the content portal will now keep you on the same recording or section, rather than returning you to the home page.
- A new Skip deleted steps setting has been added under Publishing template >> Entity: Video >> Advanced, giving more control over video content.
ENHANCEMENTS
Dashboard
- The content dashboard will now display language specific insights.
Content Portal
- Switching languages in the content portal will now keep you on the same recording or section rather than returning to the home page.
Settings
- A new setting has been introduced in Publishing template >> Entity: Video >> Advanced >> Skip deleted steps. If this setting is enabled, the deleted step images will not be displayed in the video.
FIXES
Projects
- Importing an old project from your desktop will now automatically upgrade the project.
Recordings
- In cases of annotated screenshots, the PowerPoint did not align the text field. This issue is now fixed.
- The issue of the same recording being opened twice, which caused problems during saving, has now been resolved.
- 'Replay Successful' tag did not appear in the restore version dialogue box. This issue is fixed.
Recording Editor
- The question simulation skipped some steps even though no conditions were set up. This issue is now fixed.
Structure
- A new dialogue has been introduced to facilitate removing or replacing missing items in the structure.
UXP/UAC
- Disabling the category and republishing the project still displayed it in the UXP. This issue is now fixed.
- Adding folders with PDFs as AI assets did not work. This issue is now fixed, and the project should be republished to see the effect.
On-Premise
- ClickOnce for On-premise is now resumed. Ensure all team members use compatible versions (12.2.1.17 or 12.2.1.18) when sharing projects over a network drive, as mixing them with the latest version (12.2.7.0) may cause compatibility issues. Consider planning a coordinated migration to ClickOnce for the whole team.
Connectors
- In Oracle HCM, some controls, like date pickers, were not recognized by the connectors. This issue is now fixed. The steps should be re-recorded.
- Dropdowns in SAP 4HANA were not recognized by the connectors, but this issue has now been fixed. The steps should be re-recorded.
This release continues our focus on platform stability and usability, bringing clearer language insights, a smoother content portal experience, and improvements across recordings, structure, UXP, on-premise deployment, and connector workflows. We encourage you to explore the new dashboard insights and look forward to your feedback. Happy authoring!
