I am trying to record information from a drop down box just wondering what is the best way, example below- I enter the customers name then the drop down box apprears and I click on the customers name to enter the details on an order.

Hi MonaHodge,
That sounds like a good way. Because then you get the steps in the process, that will work in a replay situation.
On top of how you will record the process, I would add text blocks in the Editor to describe for the end user what and why you are doing the process this way, and if there is another way to the same result I would properly also describe that. But that is of cause just how I would go about process descriptions.
