I’m working in VMWare with D365. If I click on an already visible link it’s recorded. However, when I click on a dropdown or the ellipses (...) nothing is recorded past that step. Any ideas?

It sounds like it could be either an issue with your ClickLearn configuration, or with the specific connector in question. I’m not sure which Microsoft Dynamics 365 product you are recording on, but to speed up the process, please contact our support desk directly by sending the recording from inside ClickLearn Studio.
