How do I Publish just one item at a time? We have a large group object and if I update 1 of the recordings - how do I only re-publish or publish the one I am working on as others on the project are working at a different pace than I am? Also trying to figure out how to extract a PDF of the work instructions.
Did you know that you can modify the ClickLearn video to have a slightly faster pace, without speeding up the voice? Traditionally, the instruction is read out - then the animation is shown. But with this small template change, the instruction will be read out seamlessly with the animation showing on screen. You can find the video here:
Attain: Resolution UpdateDelivered
When I downloaded Attain today the text was very small. I could not even read it with the screen magnifier. With some help from my team (@Jay murphy), I learned that it was only displaying properly in the recommended recording dimensions of 1920x1080. It would be nice if the tool adjusted based on resolution. This is especially needed when logging in for the first time. In my role, I am generally doing very few recordings but doing some reviews, verification, etc. So I don’t need to use the recording dimensions all of the time. Thanks!
I am looking to update a single image in a recording. The one captured is partially obscured by Tooltip, which I want to replace - without having to record the clicks (as that would cause a continuity issue, different file number etc).Ideally, I’d like to export the image, make some basic touch-ups using an image editor, and then re-import back to the Click Learn step.Any advice?
Hello. Is there an estimated time as to when SCORM packages will be available within Attain? My organization has become accustomed to accessing training materials through our LMS, so with all recordings generated in ClickLearn Classic I’ve exported a SCORM package and imported it into our LMS. It would be wonderful to have this feature available again in Attain soon so we can continue the practice.
We’re just about (this afternoon!) to launch ClickLearn to the users and have been testing ClickLearn Assist within IFS (using ClickLearn Attain). We have created and published a new recording which is appearing in the portal but not appearing in the content list of the ClickLearn Assist window (image attached) from within IFS. Also, the order/sequence of the recordings has been changed which is reflected in the portal but not in the content listing within Assist. Is there another step required to refresh this content in the ClickLearn Assist window?
Hello and welcome to this developer’s diary about our upcoming major release codename “ClickLearn Attain”. In these posts we will introduce you to new features, workflows or other relevant items of interest we plan to introduce in the product. As it is work-in-progress, contents can be subject to change. Today we will look closer at projects, which is a feature that introduces a new way to work and collaborate in ClickLearn. Create new projectAll work in ClickLearn Attain will be organized in projects. You get to define which type of project you are working on, which languages to include, which platform you wish to deploy content onto, and some basic content styling configuration. Your choices help us make your work in ClickLearn a lot easier. Here are a few more screen shots: Projects will also enable true collaboration on a number of tasks such as authoring and reviewing, translation, and more. We will cover collaboration in depth in a future Developer’s Diary post. You can
Recording TitleAdded to product backlog
In the Click Learn Classic software, there was no restriction on the character limit in the Recording Title. In Click Learn Attain, it is capped at 32 characters. This is not enough space for a proper title in many cases. The limit needs to be closer to 50 characters. This was not an issue in the legacy system, why is it now? Can this please be addresses. Thank You
Looking for tracking codesDelivered
Hi all, I am transitioning from Classic to Attain and have been unable to find the place to see the tracking codes; I know where they are in Classic and how they work.My environment: we are publishing locally, then to a webserver, and using OData feed Thanks for your time! Tom
In ClickLearn Attain using notes is far more intuitive and already from the first click you are presented with a choice of how the content block will manifest itself visually: Additionally, based on customer feedback you can now use any typical text editor formatting: We have also listened to the need for hyperlinks, they can be used too of course: Choosing exactly where the note will be places now has a proper explanation as well: We hope the new and revised way to use custom text and images via the content block feature is something you are as excited about as we are 😊
Dear all,Here is a quick update the Attain October release.Monday, through to Wednesday this week we were able to process just around 35% in total of the many customers that signed up for early access to Attain. By yesterday afternoon we decided to hold and optimize the process based on our findings and your feedback. When we produce and preview content locally the Show Me Audio works fine. When we publish the exact same recording to the ClickLearn Portal, audio of each step gets clipped short. It doesn’t seem to matter what the length of the text is. We have even noticed this problem with content in ClickLearn help portal. For example: https://help.clicklearn.com/ClickLearn%20Learning%20Portal/ClickLearn%20Learning%20Portal.htm?b=Product%20Documentation&r=Introduction How are folks resolving or getting around this issue?
Companies can use “Microsoft Store for Business and Education” to manahe own or purchased Apps and Edge-Add-Ons.Our Companie has installed such private store to manage and roll-out inhouse Apps and Add-Ons.The Clicklearn-Add-Ons (Connector) can not be added to our private store since they are not visible. The reason might be, that the Add-Ons are not natively deployed to the MS public store. So, my request to clicklearn is easy:Could you consider to deploy those add-ons as well to the MS Store? Background:Companiy has set Edge-Chromium as default browser Google Chrome not allowed Public Add-On stores not allowed (neither MS nor Chrome) Manual installation/roll-out no option.
Enable the creation of a PDF-file "Full Portal download" based on the content of a segment or sub-segmentDelivered (partially)
Hi CL-Community & Development-Team, please support my request to enable the creation of a PDF-file (full portal download) based on the content of a segment or sub-segment.Within the top-level of a project, the “full portal download”-button creates a PDF document with the whole content of my project, which I’m fine with. However when navigating into a segment, I strongly recommend, that by using the “full portal download”-button it should only create a PDF-file with the content of my segment and possible sub-segments.This would help to create and structure more meaningful and dedicated PDF-files.Please validate my request and vote for it. Thanks in advance, Volker
Submitting feedback sends an email to AuthorsDelivered (partially)
Hello, I would like the feedback email to be extended to send email when a user submits a rating/feedback at the end of the HTML or any of the video pages. This would allow us to create support cases when feedback is entered. Thank you, Jay
I have created two eLearning projects for specific training that contains modules/lessons created by different SME’s and I would like to set the voice gender according to the SME’s gender. Can I select a different voice for each lesson? Or is it only per project? Please help!
HiI’m wondering if there are any other IFS users out there who have incorporated the scope tool into ClickLearn? Our implementation partner is using the scope tool, and they’re asking me what format the outputs would need to be in, and I can’t seem to find any information about it. We have our ClickLearn training this Friday so I’d love to get some more detail ahead of time. Thanks in advance!Frederique
Hello,We have had to add a video pause to the end of most of our steps/notes to make sure the users have enough time to see what is on the screen. Is there a way in the template to add this automatically so we do not need to do it manually for every step? Thank you,Jay
