Updating our Chrome and Edge extension from v2 to v3

Hi all, As Google and Microsoft are deprecating v2 extensions, we need to update it to version 3. This is a major change, but needs to happen now, as v2 is deprecated June 2024 - after this date the current extensions will stop working until they are updated. The process will start tomorrow morning. (2024-05-23 08:00 CET) Google is normally taking days to update an extension compared to Edge where things normally happens the same day it is being uploaded. Please be aware that all customers may automatically receive the new v3 extension, but others may need to roll this out manually. Basically this means that if you are in a managed organization, your IT may need to package and deploy the new extension, IF you are packaging them internally. If you are just deploying them directly from the store, then it will auto-update. Introducing the ClickLearn status site

At ClickLearn we thrive to have the highest uptime possible and have our services available 24/7. As with all IT system, crashes can occur - the api can be down, traffic overload, gateway down, etc. A crashed detected by this site can affect both your ability to log into ClickLearn Studio or to view your published portals. We have launched a new initiative to enable you to see if the ClickLearn services are operational. Typically, the services automatically restart when we detect a crash, so if you have portal or content unavailable for example - check 5 min later and see, and then of course let us know in case we missed it :) https://status.clicklearn.com/

ClickLearn unveils new user interface (UXP) and AI features!News

ClickLearn Universe down for maintenance on 30 - 31 March

Dear Community, This is a heads-up that our learning platform ClickLearn Universe is going to be down for maintenance from 30 - 31 March. We expect the website to be up-and-running again on 31 March later in the day.During this window, we are going to carry out a migration of user accounts and data to a new Universe platform built on a different technology, to improve platform performance and consistency of architecture across our services.Once the platform is up and running again, you’ll be able to login using the same credentials and continue your learning journey where you left off 🙂In case you’d like any help getting started with ClickLearn Attain during the downtime, please contact your CSM or browse the resources available on this community site. CLOSED: Network latency and/or timeouts when accessing ClickLearn services

Microsoft is currently reporting a major incident affecting all their Azure service regions. As a result ClickLearn online services are also affected. Customers can follow the development of this incident here and with Microsoft at Microsoft 365 Service health status (office365.com)Services which may be affected during this incident:ClickLearn Studio (authoring application) ClickLearn ContentCloud (published content, all formats) EDIT: As of 25 Jan 2023 12:44:01 GMT Microsoft is reporting all services are again back online.

CLOSED: Production and publishing affecting EU based customers

Customers based in our European-based Microsoft Azure datacenter are currently experiencing problems with producing and publishing content. One of the underlying Microsoft services is currently down. To avoid downtime on your published content, do not start publish process to re-publish updates. No problems with existing, already published content have been reported.UPDATE NOV 16TH 14:45 CET:Service seem to be back online and production and publishing is now again completing without issue. If you had problems with your publishing operation earlier today, please perform the operation once more to resolve the issue.

CLOSED: When recording webapps in Google Chrome

Last week we fixed an issue which occurred when recording any webapps in the latest version of Google Chrome, where screenshots would not be captured, or would be completely off. Unfortunately Google made a new release recently, which re-introduced the issue. Our developer team is currently working on a fix to come out with the next release of ClickLearn. As soon as the fix is completed, we will initiate the release process. As a work-around, you can use the (chromium-based) Microsoft Edge browser. Remember you need to install the ClickLearn Chrome connector. UPDATE NOV 11 10.30am CET:Our team has been unable to replicate the issue, and apart from one colleague reporting the issue yesterday, we have not heard from any customers facing this issue. If you have problems recording webapps on Google Chrome browser, please contact our support desk.
