How can I adjust the proxy when i get the following error:

If you cannot start ClickLearn at all, you may need to use our on premise version, available here:

https://apps.clicklearn.com/ClickLearnStudioSetup.msi

 

If you can start ClickLearn, but get the proxy message - then try configuring your proxy here:

 

merely typing w,d will use windows default proxy with logged in credentials.

 

if you have issues with this, let me know - as it is also possible to configure the c:\programdata\clicklearn\ClickLearnCustomConfiguration.xml file directly.

 

If you have ClickLearn attain too, that one will automatically attempt to use your system proxy.


When I start ClickLearn Studio, I get the following window:

 

The program wait, wait and wait….

 

Where can I get to the preferences window?


Our firewall has been modified and now it works.

For others with proxy issues, from ClickLearn Attain 12.1.0.113 and up, you can edit the proxy like this:

 

Create the required file: 'C:\ProgramData\ClickLearn\ClickLearnProxy.txt'

 

and here are the configuration options:

w=webproxy|s=systemwebproxy|http://adr:port,d=defaultcredentials|n=defaultnetworkcredentials,user,password,domain

Examples:

w,d

s,n

http://myproxy:777,,myusr,mypassword,mydomain

NOTE: If the line starts with ! it is running with debug information (basically when you start clicklearn there will be a popup telling you what proxy configuration it is using)
