I set up my Content Cloud successfully and published a set of recordings to the Case table successfully,

but now that I’ve recorded new content on a custom table that appears in the portal fine

I can’t seem to get it to update to work with Inside CRM…

I’m sure at this point after trying several times, I’ve probably broken something.

Does anyone have an idea why the same method wouldn’t work for update as it did for initial creation?

The contextual trigger is based off of the FormID, like this:

 

 

basically, if the recording has a step that traverses a specific form, then the recording will be suggested while on that form.

 

I can recommend you reach out to us in support and we can look at it together on a session, it may also be a cache issue, or if you didn’t remove and re-add the content in the solution configuration after re-publishing.
