And just to add to Peter’s perfectly correct answer, please keep in mind steps are recorded in a specific sequence. When copy-pasting steps in the same recording, or between two recordings, you always run a risk of breaking that sequence. Which could mean your documentation is no longer valid, and that replaying the recording will fail.

Take this example with a simple three step process, with the steps 1) open form, 2) add info, and 3) save form. If you only copy any two of the three steps, the sequence is not complete, and the documentation is no longer valid, and ClickLearn will not be able to replay the full process, as one of the three steps is missing. 

Also, in the same example with simple three step process with the steps 1) open form, 2) add info, and 3) save form. Should you copy-paste the steps out of order, leaving the steps in the recording now ordered as 1) add info, 2) open form, and 3) save form, you will run into similar problems.
