What wild cards can you use in the data editor to denote any input instead of exact input?

There are no “wildcards” as such.

 

For input fields, you can change what is being typed during a replay by changing it in the data editor. This is especially useful for multi language replays.

 

During an assist scenario, I will recommend you add a text block before, guiding the user well in what they are expected to type - and the subsequent step after the until can be handily treated with a current row setting.

 

For example, the user is asked to search for the exact contact they wish to change.

 

they click into the search box

they are told to type the exact name of the contact

they type the exact name

they click on the first available result using the current row functionality.
