In the past I have been able to take the URL once published and give that to users to access the recording. Now it seems each of our users need to register for an account before they can view. I haven’t done anything different in the publish process.
What is the difference/rationale for two standard directories Common Assets versus Recording Assets? When I upload my templates (Word, PPT), and logo...which directory should they be placed? I want each project (and all associated recordings) to use the same assets. Also after I update and replace with new templates (and delete the old ones), I am finding the “view” still shows me the old templated version.
My colleague created an annotated screenshot and I need to edit the associated text, but I can’t seem to make the text editable...even in the Writer editor. help? I am only able to access the Annotation editor but the text is not in the actual screenshot.

Hello All,I’ve installed the ClickLearn Edge extension into Edge AOK but each time I start CLickLearn Studio 188.8.131.52 I get the messageHowever when I run up ClickLearn Studio 184.108.40.206 and login AOK I can’t see any “Tools-Preferences” menu options - this is all that I see - an empty project screen:I have confirmed that the registry is being updated to show the Native Messaging has been registered for ClickLearn (and I copied this key into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE too just in case): Yet when I start Edge I get the green outline with the message “In order to record form your browser, please install the clicklearn extension first”Is there something I have missed?Thankyou
In Attain, you are allowed to choose the a one or two column layout for the Webpage entity. Is there a way set the column layout in the Word template? Right now the instructions are displayed in a two column format in Word and we want to change it to one column. 1 column layout 2 column layout
Hi there,I have a Review project in ClickLearn Attain in which I send out the training for review and approval before uploading to the live environment. I develop in the Main project folder and import the recordings in to the Review project. I do this so I know the main project file is the updated version, rather than developing in Review and uploading to Main. However each time I update and save over the recording in Review, I need to attach any images again - even though these images are in the Review folder, the association with replacing the updated recording has been lost.Is there are way to reference a recording in one project, and when updated, updates in a different project?Or is there a more efficient workflow when developing and sending out review recordings and then uploading to live environment?Many thanks,Tam
I have been recording some processes and have waited for the green box to appear before I click the links in the process I am doing and once recording is done, Click learn only recorded around 3 of the actions over 10 actions.I am working on IFS Aurena. I have installed the google chrome plug in.
Hi. I’ve been translating the recordings by going to each instruction text and clicking the globe on the right side of it. I click on auto translation afterwards. I would really need a more quicker way to do it for the whole recording? How do I do that? Also, I want to have bigger font sizes for the subtitles and instructions text. How do I change that for the whole recording?
Hi all, When customers click on the assist or help icon in Dynamics 365, they are prompted to login to access the content. I want them to be able to access the content without having to login.I edited sharing to “Anyone with Link ( No Login required)”, on both the Shelf and Assist.This is Dynamics 365 8.2.x, on prem, and ClickLearn classic.Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Just started with ClickLearn.I’m looking to find the best way to capture transient windows, such as date pickers and dropdown menus.Are there any accepted best practices for this within ClickLearn?I was unable to find any docs that specifically address this issue.TIARobert
From memory in Classic version you could select to include or exclude the produced content type such as PDF, Word, PPT, Videos. Is this possible in the new version please, say for example I only want to produce and publish PDF and ‘Watch Me’ video? I could not see the option to do this?
I made a text mistake in one of my recordings.I went into the recording and updated the text.I checked the preview (AOK)I save the recording, did a refresh in the recordings panel.Went through all the publshing steps once more.But when I go to the website, it still shows the old text.I also tried removing the recording from the structure and replacing it. None of these have worked, any idea how to update this?TIARobert
Hi there,I am changing the Replay Data in the Data Editor to select Set to current row or Set to row number - but each time I try Replay this doesn’t select a row, and I need to re-record the steps. This is upgrading from Desktop BC to Web BC.Also, in the Replay data, is it possible to use the text that ClickLearn records - for example, in the Desktop version of BC the recording text is ‘Click on the ribbon button New’ and in the Web version the text is ‘Click on the navigation menu item New’ - I tired to add this text in the Replay data but this did not pick up upon Replay.Any further instructions are appreciated.Many thanks
