Hi all, When customers click on the assist or help icon in Dynamics 365, they are prompted to login to access the content. I want them to be able to access the content without having to login.I edited sharing to “Anyone with Link ( No Login required)”, on both the Shelf and Assist.This is Dynamics 365 8.2.x, on prem, and ClickLearn classic.Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
My colleague created an annotated screenshot and I need to edit the associated text, but I can’t seem to make the text editable...even in the Writer editor. help? I am only able to access the Annotation editor but the text is not in the actual screenshot.
Hi guys, This morning, all of a sudden, my Project will not open.When I try to open my Project, I get three messages appearing in sequence as I click OK: I’ve tried restarting the software, restarting my computer, logging out and back in, and rolling back updates, but no success. My portal so far still exists and works in the browser - the issue I’m experiencing is within the Attain client itself. I have also contacted Support and asked to raise this as an urgent case as I cannot work on any content while this is happening, but have not yet heard back. Has anyone else seen this before? Please help!
What is the difference/rationale for two standard directories Common Assets versus Recording Assets? When I upload my templates (Word, PPT), and logo...which directory should they be placed? I want each project (and all associated recordings) to use the same assets. Also after I update and replace with new templates (and delete the old ones), I am finding the “view” still shows me the old templated version.
Understanding that the ClickAssist avatar needs to begin at a place in the application that is intuitive for the user, we’ve modified our recordings to start from the main menu and then navigate to the actual starting point for the instruction. Prior to this, the user would be on a page and activate the instruction but there would be no “bridge” to get the Assistant to the correct starting point… The issue is that in every recording where we start on the left hand navigation for D365 CE and then go to a list of records and then select *any* record, the Assistant just spins going from the Main menu to the list view. How is it possible to know for sure that the Assistant can find its way? I’ve tested using the Assistance menu and changing it from yes to “Force Next” thinking that might be able to skip a step but that didn’t work. Our current template has the attached footer. We’d like to include the Last Produced Date. Can someone please point us to where we get the correct code to populate that will show the last produced date in the footer. We tried using ##clrevdate##, but that wasn’t it. Thanks
I enjoy watching Morten’s corner and love that Morten is able to record himself using CL. As training new employees, I would like to be able to record myself using CL instead of having to personally train each employee.Is this a software you use within CL that allows you to record yourself or do you use something else? Hey everyoneWhen expanding or collapsing a FastTab in Dynamics NAV 2017, ClickLearn does not capture the title of the FastTab. The produced instructions are: ‘Click the header Collapse’ or ‘Click the header Expand’. It would be nice to have a reference to the title of the FastTab. For example, when expanding the General FastTab, ClickLearn could produce the instruction ‘On the General FastTab click the header Expand’ or something similar. Does anyone know how to get a reference to the title of the FastTab?
Hi Community, I am a new user to ClickLearn and so far I have learned that the product can be used to create great work instructions, simulations etc for training.. but we also want to create some great interactive eLearning courses, can ClickLearn create eLearning as well?
Is it possible to publish our content in Attain to our own secure Web server instead of to ContentCloud? Or, is it possible to secure the content when publishing to ContentCloud so it is not public content, but rather private - accessible only to our employees?
Hi everyone,I am testing out ClickLearn to create some training material. When I use the Show Me function, it currently plays the voiceover then clicks on the field. Is there anyway to reverse this so it first clicks on the field, then the voiceover plays?Or if possible, can you remove the cursor animation shown in the Show Me function?Hope that makes sense.Thanks in advance,Brian
Hello, I’ve been having difficulties loading some (most) files when trying to edit. It does load, but sometimes I have to wait upward of a minute or two before gaining access to the steps. It looks like the image below for a couple of minutes. Switching languages and reloading after editing one step also takes what seems like forever before you’re able to continue working. I’ve made sure to prioritize Clicklearn in the task manager so that it processes faster on my laptop as well, but am worried that this might not just be a memory/cpu issue. Is anyone else having similar issues? Can it be related to the cloud/my internet connection?Best regards,Amina
Hello ClickLearn Community, how are the menu items “Dashboard” and “Content Tracking” supposed to be used? Do you need any specific requirements to use them (i. e. admin-role)? What are all the functions? I couldn’t find any help or guide to use these tools.I think my data basis isn’t useful to work with yet. So an explaination or tutorial with own examples would be very helpful, since I can’t check it on my own.
