Multiple UXP URLs / Keeping Different Systems Separate in UXP

Hi everyone,

We are currently using ClickLearn for two separate systems: IFSC and Salesforce.

Currently, only a single UXP URL can be configured. This would mean combining content from both systems into the same UXP environment if we want to provide UXP access for both.

Our preference would be to keep the systems separated because:

  • IFSC and Salesforce are managed by different teams / are two different systems.
  • A combined UXP could create confusion for content owners and end users.
  • We would like to maintain separate content structures and governance.
  • Some stakeholders are concerned about mixing projects that are currently managed independently.

I may be missing something regarding the recommended setup, so I would also be interested in hearing how others handle this scenario.

  • Are you using one shared UXP for multiple systems?
  • How do you organize content and navigation to avoid confusion?
  • Are there any best practices for keeping systems logically separated?
  • Is support for multiple UXP URLs (e.g., one per system/project) on the roadmap?

I'd appreciate any feedback or examples of how other organizations have approached this.

Thanks!

Hi @JEHPE ,

Currently there are two options available to you:

One is to use two different browsers.

Two is to publish the content to a single portal, in theory you could support multiple systems that way.

But, from your separation and governance perspective, i will check with out dev team what the future plans are and get back to you here in this thread.

Stay tuned 😊

Hi @Morten,

Thank you for the quick response 😊

Unfortunately, using two different browsers is not an option for us, as our company only allows a specific browser for security and compliance reasons...

Publishing both systems to a single portal is technically possible, but that would mean giving up the native UXP experience, which is something we would prefer to avoid.

That's why support for separate UXP environments/URLs would be very interesting in the future, if something along those lines is being considered.

Thank you for checking with the development team. I appreciate it and look forward to hearing what you find out.

Best, Hona
