Setting different voices for modules

I have created two eLearning projects for specific training that contains modules/lessons created by different SME’s and I would like to set the voice gender according to the SME’s gender. Can I select a different voice for each lesson? Or is it only per project? Please help!

Column layout in Word template

In Attain, you are allowed to choose the a one or two column layout for the Webpage entity. Is there a way set the column layout in the Word template? Right now the instructions are displayed in a two column format in Word and we want to change it to one column. 1 column layout 2 column layout

Adding intro slides to our courses modules

I have customized the template but would like to add introductory slides after the first template slide (where the name of the lesson appears) and before the captured steps and processes, to introduce the instructor and present lesson learning objectives. I initially thought this would be possible in the templating but was informed that the only way to do this, would be by creating a template that I customize with the name of each instructor, save it as an image and insert it into each module. I would like the AI to be able to read out the instructor’s name and the lessons learning objectives. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

What is causing Assist recordings to require an additional EXE file

We’re using CL Attain with IFS Aurena, Chrome browser.When launching Assist for some of our recordings it is prompting a download of an EXE file that needs to be run for the Assist to run but our users don’t (and won’t) have permissions to run these files.I have looked into a recording (42 steps - not sure if this is big, small or typical?) where this is happening for anything that may be causing this (steps outside of Chrome, for example) but it looks like all steps are inside IFS Aurena within the Chrome browser.Almost all steps show a command type of “IFSWeb” although there is one that is “ScreenPos” and 2 that are “Keyboard”.I duplicated a copy of the recording and removed these 3 steps and still have the problem so any ideas what is causing the EXE file to be required and whether we can edit or rerecord to avoid it?

Refreshing content in ClickLearn Assist window

We’re just about (this afternoon!) to launch ClickLearn to the users and have been testing ClickLearn Assist within IFS (using ClickLearn Attain). We have created and published a new recording which is appearing in the portal but not appearing in the content list of the ClickLearn Assist window (image attached) from within IFS. Also, the order/sequence of the recordings has been changed which is reflected in the portal but not in the content listing within Assist.Is there another step required to refresh this content in the ClickLearn Assist window?

Adding and Editing Text Blocks

I have made my first recording and am trying to add new sections and Text Blocks to my recording. I have added a New Section okay, but cannot seem to add a Text Block. I follow the process to add the Content Block, specify Text Block and set the desired display - I then add the text I’m trying to add and Save Changes, but the required changes do not show. I can see the Text Block in the list of steps to the left of the screen, but if I edit the Text Block, there is no text displayed in the box. Can anyone assist?

Recording loading slowly

Hello, I’ve been having difficulties loading some (most) files when trying to edit. It does load, but sometimes I have to wait upward of a minute or two before gaining access to the steps. It looks like the image below for a couple of minutes. Switching languages and reloading after editing one step also takes what seems like forever before you’re able to continue working. I’ve made sure to prioritize Clicklearn in the task manager so that it processes faster on my laptop as well, but am worried that this might not just be a memory/cpu issue. Is anyone else having similar issues? Can it be related to the cloud/my internet connection?Best regards,Amina

"Un Check Out" a Recording

I had started to replay it but ClickLearn quit. Now I can’t go back into the recording because ClickLearn says it is checked out for editing even though no one is using it. Is there any way to undo this check out?

Adding a pause in a text block

Hi, For so far I know it is possible to add a pause for each steps and adjust the speed of speech in ClickLearn Attain, but I want to ask if it is possible to add a pause for a text block? Thank you in advance!

How to remove the submit button and adjust button layout for a question?

Viewing the screenshot of a question, you can see the issues are that the question is blocked by the buttons and there is a blank button which is supposed to be the submit button. How can adjust the button location to not block the question and remove the blank button?

Removing short cuts

I would like to remove the keyboard short cut option that is added to my recorded steps.CL helped me once to remove it from a project, however I have created a new project and the keyboard short cuts are back.Example : Press Shift + F5 key. Please tell me how I can turn this off. ThanksLorie

Incorporating video files into the structure in Attain

HiI am creating some videos outside of ClickLearn for an app, and I would like to incorporate that video into our structure in Attain. Are there any tips or instructions on how best to do this? I’ve managed to create an mp4 file using my video editing software, and when I import that into my structure, publish and click on it, it’s asking my users to download the file and then play it via the windows media player. Is there any way that the video can play from within the portal? Thanks for the help!

Spell check work around

All, I know that spell check was an issue and last time I checked, there isn’t a solution inside ClickLearn. That said, when your portal grows beyond 1,000 pages of content and steps, with multiple editors, it is easy to not catch misspelled words. I will share my work around: While working on a concordance file for my written processes (separate thread later), I am using a word frequency counter in VBA that counts the word frequency in my huge file. From there, it is VERY easy to see the misspelled words in Word, go to your section in the written steps (the PDF of your training portal), find the specific recording, and then go update the recordings as necessary. In this example, I have misspelled ‘separate’ 7 times, as found in VBA. Before we go too far, don’t be afraid of this VBA, it’s easy and self-explanatory. I also didn’t write it, found it on the Internet and works great. When the script runs, for a 1,200 page doc, it took about 10 minutes to run. Easy peasy. When the

Text position at top of page

Is it possible to position the written text at the top of the page, rather than at the bottom? My recording is showing the use of different tabs in an Excel document, but the written text is positioned ON TOP OF the tabs, so the users cannot actually see what I’m trying to show

RAM requirements?

Hello Per, Thanks for this, however can you also confirm the minimum and recommended specs for memory? (installed RAM) Even if I am only running ClickLearn Attain and my Chrome browser for authoring, my ClickLearn is still freezing up and unresponsive and I suspect it is consuming allot of memory. I cannot confirm as I cannot even run Task Manager as our machines are quite restricted. At present I only have 16GB of RAM but I will get an upgrade to 32GB. Regards,

Can you replace a step Image?

I am looking to update a single image in a recording. The one captured is partially obscured by Tooltip, which I want to replace - without having to record the clicks (as that would cause a continuity issue, different file number etc).Ideally, I’d like to export the image, make some basic touch-ups using an image editor, and then re-import back to the Click Learn step.Any advice?

I want to know how to link one recording to another in Attain - I found an answer that said you can just copy and paste the steps, but this doesn’t work. If that’s just for Classic, how do you do it for Attain?? Thanks.
