Uninstall and reinstall Clicklearn

Hi Morten I am having the edge issue with clicklearn connector, and i believe its because when i initially installed clicklearn soome time ago, i said no to the following message My question is - if i do that, will i lose work created already or will it still be there on re-installation?

Result of inline text block in ppt

I’m not sure if there is something i’m missing. The format of output to powerpoint seem off to me. When using a textblock with the option “inline next” before a screenshot i expect the powerpoint to show both of these steps in the same slide, just like you see them in the browser. Question: I am publishing my content to OneDrive. I have a group of users that are on iPads and want to watch the videos and use the “shelf” on an iPad. Branching in Recordings

Hello, What is the best way to handle branching or decisions in recordings? (If you have a process and during the process the user needs to make a decision, or follow different steps depending on the outcome of the previous step) e.g. Some steps previous Does the customer exist in our system? If yes → go this route and do a few more steps If no → go this route and do other steps Return at some point to some final shared steps Thanks -Kevan

How to edit placement of instruction text in written material

I am sure this is quite simple, but as I can’t find the answere anywhere then I will ask.Where are trying to move the instruction text which are currently on the left of the screenshots in both Word and PDF, I would like to have it abouve the image as that would allow the image to be wider and bigger. Where and how can I do that?

Conditionally including steps in video?

I’m running into issues trying to conditionally include steps in my video. Here’s what I’m doing:Create a “Have a question?” step. Create a section or group of steps. Go into the Flow Editor and create a condition to include that section in the instruction process.The problem is the video still includes the steps in the section/group with the condition regardless of the answer that is submitted. The only fix I found was to add a condition to every step, which seems a bit inefficient. Am I missing something when setting this up, or is it potentially a bug? Thanks in advance for the answers :)

Change default instruction text in connector

Hello,I am creating documentation using Microsoft Dynamics connectors and would like to edit the sentence structure of default instruction text.For example, when recording a process, the standard text would be “Click the button New”. I would like it to automatically be written as “Click the New button”, which is more natural and grammatically correct. Currently I am spending a lot of time editing every step to correct this type of phrasing, but would rather apply a change at the template, or via the connector if possible.Hope this makes sense.Thanks

Show most recent feedback at the top

Previously, when reviewing the feedback in the portal the most recent items would be displayed at the top. Reviewing this week that no longer seems to be the case. Instead it is showing them in order from oldest to newest. We would like to see the new feedback first and then be able to scroll for other feedback. It would also be nice if the date was shown with each feedback item. I am viewing this on the Dashboard in the Portal then comparing it with the oData export. We primarily use the Dashboard to monitor.

Does the ClickLearn Assist URL need to be updated every time new recordings has been published?

Hi ClickLearn,After having published the newest recordings and verified that they are available in the ClickLearn Portal, the same new recordings are not available for use in the ClickLearn Assistant in the IFS Cloud environment.Do we need to update the ClickLearn Assistant URL to get the newest recordings included in the ClickLearn Assistant?It looks like the new URL is the same URL as the existing one in the “ClickLearn Assist Configuration”?Br Hans

What is the difference/rationale for two standard directories Common Assets versus Recording Assets? When I upload my templates (Word, PPT), and logo...which directory should they be placed? I want each project (and all associated recordings) to use the same assets. Also after I update and replace with new templates (and delete the old ones), I am finding the “view” still shows me the old templated version.

Hi all, Does anyone know if recordings from IFS10 (or previous versions) can be replayed on IFS Cloud?IFS10 is based on IEE, whilst IFS Cloud is more of a browser type of Interface.

How to move the Video title up a couple of rows?

Good evening! I have been unable to locate in the html templates where I can move the title up one or two rows on the recording titles? Does anyone know where to move this title? The title bleeds over into our logo and I don’t want to rebuild the video intro images. Thanks for your time!

Why does Click Learn not record my clicks?

I have been recording some processes and have waited for the green box to appear before I click the links in the process I am doing and once recording is done, Click learn only recorded around 3 of the actions over 10 actions.I am working on IFS Aurena. I have installed the google chrome plug in.

Replace corrupt image must be done in ALL the used language options?

Hello ClickLearn.While moving 7 completed recordings to the folder they are to be published from, 4 of them had an image that became corrupted and needed to be replaced.We are using 3 languages in our recordings. When the image had been replaced, it had to be done in the other 2 languages as well??Why isn’t the image added to all 3 languages in the same recording?Is there a planned fix for this?If not, I’ll have to replace the image 3 times in each of the 4 recordings? How to connect ClickLearn to LDAP Active Directory

I am currently attempting to establish a connection between our Active Directory user system and ClickLearn software. The objective is to eliminate the need for manual addition of individuals to ClickLearn whenever new employees join our organization. Given our substantial workforce, creating individual accounts for each employee would be a time-consuming task.

ClickLearn Not Capturing Fields Within Tabs in APT Screenshot

I am trying to make an APT using ClickLearn on IFS APPS10, but it seems that the screenshot used in the APT flow to scrape data is not able to scrape data from within a tab.For example, in the below screenshot, I want to scrape the data within the “Opportunity Lines” tab, such as the ones highlighted within the red rectangles. When using the screenshot in a fork, it doesn’t recognize these fields and won’t let me click on them to scrape their data.It seems to recognize the entire pane where the Opportunity Lines are as one object, not the individual fields within it - note the blue rectangle around the entire area in the below image:Is there any way I can force the screenshot to scrape this data? Or is this perhaps a bug only on my end?

Replubishing updated recordings

I made a text mistake in one of my recordings.I went into the recording and updated the text.I checked the preview (AOK)I save the recording, did a refresh in the recordings panel.Went through all the publshing steps once more.But when I go to the website, it still shows the old text.I also tried removing the recording from the structure and replacing it. None of these have worked, any idea how to update this?TIARobert

Replay and the Data Editor

Hi there,I am changing the Replay Data in the Data Editor to select Set to current row or Set to row number - but each time I try Replay this doesn’t select a row, and I need to re-record the steps. This is upgrading from Desktop BC to Web BC.Also, in the Replay data, is it possible to use the text that ClickLearn records - for example, in the Desktop version of BC the recording text is ‘Click on the ribbon button New’ and in the Web version the text is ‘Click on the navigation menu item New’ - I tired to add this text in the Replay data but this did not pick up upon Replay.Any further instructions are appreciated.Many thanks

Recording edits in Adobe Acrobat DC

Is there a way to record just certain fields in Adobe? I want to show a .pdf file and record which fields need to be edited, but when I start to record I can only capture the entire document. I know that I can edit the size of the image in ClickLearn to show just a portion, but this is not what I wanted to do.
