Help with Publishing

How do I Publish just one item at a time? We have a large group object and if I update 1 of the recordings - how do I only re-publish or publish the one I am working on as others on the project are working at a different pace than I am? Also trying to figure out how to extract a PDF of the work instructions.

ClickLearn Attain - can't play recording

Anyone having issues playing back their recording?I am in ATTAIN > inside recording > Preview > Show Me.All I get is a circle/waiting symbol and sometimes nothing at all. Recording won’t play.

Links between different parts of the same project

Within ClickLearn Attain, is it possible to create links between different parts of the documentation (i.e. cross-references)? I have tried using the link editor in the text editor for an instruction, but this seems to bring up a dialog to select a file.

Embedding a video

Has anyone found a way to embed a Showme video in a web page?Playing with video.js, but it can’t seem to read the clicklearn output. I am currently linking to the showme directly using a Community tip (thanks Michael), but it returns to the clicklearn portal rather than my page.And it is a link… I’d rather embed so the user can watch the video on the same page if they so choose. I should note that my site does not support embedding the windows movie player.

Won't record after clicking a dropdown or ellipses (...)

I’m working in VMWare with D365. If I click on an already visible link it’s recorded. However, when I click on a dropdown or the ellipses (...) nothing is recorded past that step. Any ideas?

ClickLearn File Management

Hello, What is the best practice for organizing files in the ClckLearn UI? I can see that we are going to create hundreds of recording, books, etc. but we need a way to organize them on-screen in ClickLearn. I looked at the documentation for Workgroups and Projects and that does not seem to be the answer. I do not even see in ClickLearn how to create a project. All I want is to be able to filter my UI so that all the files pertinent to a certain area of documentation are shown. For example: Just my files for Manufacturing Safety Practices or just Office IFS trainings. How do I do this? Best Regards,Kevin

Chrome Connector Extension Pop-Up Issue

Hello, Upon installation of ClickLearn Studio and login to the Portal I initally followed the instructions listed to installed the ClickLean Chrome Connector. ClickLearn Pop-up for connector given on browser startup However, upon subsequent openings of my Google Chrome browser, I am continually receiving this popup despite it already being installed in present. Is there some setting that would stop this from reoccurring that I have overlooked?Thanks in advance, Marc

WinAutomation is the windows application developed by softomotive. and it becomes a part of the microsoft power automate since May 2020. I tried to create a recording using Windows UI connector. however nothing captured.I would like to ask you to add feature to support Winautomation in next release.

Using ClickLearn interface to manage my recordings

I wondering if is possible for another Cliklearn user in my company to acess the list of my recordings, books, and shelfs on my personal clicklearn login interface - see attached as a reference.I ask this question because if for example I am the only publisher in the company and I'm going on vacation how are we going to manage the recordings and publishing? unless i give the person my login details. having a central system where the user can login into to manage the recording will be more ideal.

Hints on how to avoid image changes when excluding or deleting a step

When creating/editing recordings, sometimes when we delete or exclude a step, the images change on the next steps. Not always, and not the same each time. Sometimes the when excluding it happens, and doesn’t when I delete. Sometimes the reverse of that. Anyone else having this challenge, and any hints to avoid it?Thanks

Show most recent feedback at the top

Previously, when reviewing the feedback in the portal the most recent items would be displayed at the top. Reviewing this week that no longer seems to be the case. Instead it is showing them in order from oldest to newest. We would like to see the new feedback first and then be able to scroll for other feedback. It would also be nice if the date was shown with each feedback item. I am viewing this on the Dashboard in the Portal then comparing it with the oData export. We primarily use the Dashboard to monitor.

Global setting for Replay pause

Hi all, when replaying our ClickLearn recordings (for IFS10) we often have the problem that ClickLearn doesn’t find the next step (especially if there are drop down fields involved), so that we have to manually proceed with the next step to continue with the replay. Also the screens in the written version of the recordings often do not show the filled in values when there has to be filled a certain value into a certain field; in most of the cases it shows only the first character / number of the value. Due to our growing experience with ClickLearn we found out that these problems can be fixed by changing the “Replay pause” within the step editor when you open it using the developer role. To avoid having to do this for every step separately is there any possibility to globally set the Replay pause to a certain amount? Or is there some other solution for it which we haven’t found yet? How to crop overall screen on recordings?

HiIs it possible to crop the overall screen size that appears on the Try Me, Test Me videos. This is the area that has the purple line around it in the thumbnail editor.The screen areas in green and red are fine, but I do not what the area displaying my desktop to appear on the videos, which it currently does (see attached).

IFS/ClickLearn: Recordings stop during playback?

Have a client that is trying to create ClickLearn recordings early in the implementation process. Screen layouts are still changing, custom fields being added, etc. Also, the data is changing and security permissions sets changing. Will changes in all of these affect the ability to playback a recoding, or only some things? Is ClickLearn capable for instance of handling changing field location on a screen header or tab? Or any data changes since a recording was done, and now? What is the Best Practice? Wait until the system is more stable as regards to changes? Or start early, knowing they will have to update continuously perhaps depending on degree of changes?

Connect two recordings

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to connect two or more recordings in one big recording. For example we have a recording how to create customer orders the other is how to proceed the customer order another could be how to invoice the customer order. Is it now possible to create a recording Customer Order Process with this tree recordings inside?Thanks, Bernd
