We’re just about (this afternoon!) to launch ClickLearn to the users and have been testing ClickLearn Assist within IFS (using ClickLearn Attain). We have created and published a new recording which is appearing in the portal but not appearing in the content list of the ClickLearn Assist window (image attached) from within IFS. Also, the order/sequence of the recordings has been changed which is reflected in the portal but not in the content listing within Assist.Is there another step required to refresh this content in the ClickLearn Assist window?
I have made my first recording and am trying to add new sections and Text Blocks to my recording. I have added a New Section okay, but cannot seem to add a Text Block. I follow the process to add the Content Block, specify Text Block and set the desired display - I then add the text I’m trying to add and Save Changes, but the required changes do not show. I can see the Text Block in the list of steps to the left of the screen, but if I edit the Text Block, there is no text displayed in the box. Can anyone assist?
Hello, I’ve been having difficulties loading some (most) files when trying to edit. It does load, but sometimes I have to wait upward of a minute or two before gaining access to the steps. It looks like the image below for a couple of minutes. Switching languages and reloading after editing one step also takes what seems like forever before you’re able to continue working. I’ve made sure to prioritize Clicklearn in the task manager so that it processes faster on my laptop as well, but am worried that this might not just be a memory/cpu issue. Is anyone else having similar issues? Can it be related to the cloud/my internet connection?Best regards,Amina
Viewing the screenshot of a question, you can see the issues are that the question is blocked by the buttons and there is a blank button which is supposed to be the submit button. How can adjust the button location to not block the question and remove the blank button?
I would like to remove the keyboard short cut option that is added to my recorded steps.CL helped me once to remove it from a project, however I have created a new project and the keyboard short cuts are back.Example : Press Shift + F5 key. Please tell me how I can turn this off. ThanksLorie
HiI am creating some videos outside of ClickLearn for an app, and I would like to incorporate that video into our structure in Attain. Are there any tips or instructions on how best to do this? I’ve managed to create an mp4 file using my video editing software, and when I import that into my structure, publish and click on it, it’s asking my users to download the file and then play it via the windows media player. Is there any way that the video can play from within the portal? Thanks for the help!
Is it possible to position the written text at the top of the page, rather than at the bottom? My recording is showing the use of different tabs in an Excel document, but the written text is positioned ON TOP OF the tabs, so the users cannot actually see what I’m trying to show
Hello Per, Thanks for this, however can you also confirm the minimum and recommended specs for memory? (installed RAM) Even if I am only running ClickLearn Attain and my Chrome browser for authoring, my ClickLearn is still freezing up and unresponsive and I suspect it is consuming allot of memory. I cannot confirm as I cannot even run Task Manager as our machines are quite restricted. At present I only have 16GB of RAM but I will get an upgrade to 32GB. Regards,
I am looking to update a single image in a recording. The one captured is partially obscured by Tooltip, which I want to replace - without having to record the clicks (as that would cause a continuity issue, different file number etc).Ideally, I’d like to export the image, make some basic touch-ups using an image editor, and then re-import back to the Click Learn step.Any advice?
Hello, I reached out previously about not having any sound in our modules. I was told to contact support which I did. It has not been a week and the only response I got back was on Monday that “ we are working on it” with no details. I have since reached out twice more and have received no response. Is there an issue with ClickLearn customer support currently?
Hello All,I’ve installed the ClickLearn Edge extension into Edge AOK but each time I start CLickLearn Studio 126.96.36.199 I get the messageHowever when I run up ClickLearn Studio 188.8.131.52 and login AOK I can’t see any “Tools-Preferences” menu options - this is all that I see - an empty project screen:I have confirmed that the registry is being updated to show the Native Messaging has been registered for ClickLearn (and I copied this key into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE too just in case): Yet when I start Edge I get the green outline with the message “In order to record form your browser, please install the clicklearn extension first”Is there something I have missed?Thankyou
Hi there,I am wondering if someone can please explain why the PDF document does not format the same way as the format created in the written editor?I take my time to make sure I am happy with the way the format looks while in the written editor.I then select Preview. The steps from the Preview page match the format in the written editor.From the Preview page, I select PDF and the format is different!I know some of our users like to print the PDF, so it is important that visually it is appealing and easy to follow. It becomes more work for me when I now have to return to the written editor and reformat it so the PDF is formatted in a way I am happy with.Because of this, it has added extra work for me and my team.in the PDF- spacing and bullets may look different words have extra spaces or not enough sentences that have a space between them in the editor are crammed together in the PDF as well as other smaller issuesCan someone please explain why this happens and if there is some sort of
