How come audio gets clipped short when content published to ClickLearn Portal?

When we produce and preview content locally the Show Me Audio works fine.  When we publish the exact same recording to the ClickLearn Portal, audio of each step gets clipped short.  It doesn’t seem to matter what the length of the text is.  We have even noticed this problem with content in ClickLearn help portal.  For example:   https://help.clicklearn.com/ClickLearn%20Learning%20Portal/ClickLearn%20Learning%20Portal.htm?b=Product%20Documentation&r=Introduction How are folks resolving or getting around this issue?

Touch pad

Hello all! I record with ClickLearn on my laptop, and sometimes I noticed that many or none of my clicks were recorded, but keyboard input were. It recently occurred to me that in at least a couple of those cases, I was using my touchpad instead of the mouse to click items. Has this happened to anyone else?

Replay Recording inside a Recording

Hi guys   My aim is to create ClickLearn content using a modular approach. Let’s say I have a parent process A which contains child-processes x, y, z. The child-processes could be used across parent processes. Say, parent process B also contains child-process y and z.    I tried using the Replay Recording function, which states “Another recording may be startet [sic] before proceeding with the next step in this recording.”  This is exactly what I am after, unfortunately I could not get it to work. Below are the steps I took:   I created, replayed and published two recordings: Parent Recording and Child Recording   The Child Recording is made up of 1 step:   The Parent Recording has 3 steps, one of them being the replay of the Child Recording:   The final produced material of Parent Recording:   The child recording step is missing.   I have ensured to use the correct network file path of the child recording.   What am I missing?   Any ideas are highly appreciated.   Cheers Lukas

Replay never finds the steps

I am just learning ClickLearn. In an effort to teach myself, I decided to replay videos that had been recorded previously.  Even if I use the raw unedited recording, ClickLearn still cannot find any steps during the replay. I have been playing with the template...could that be why?  Does anyone have any tips or tricks, or should I just submit a case. Thank you!

Dynamics CRM whole screen capture only

I am having an issue in my recordings in Dynamics CRM where I can only capture the outer window, not the individual fields.  I put in a support ticket but wondered if anyone on here could help me in the meantime so I can work over the weekend.

Failed to Start

I keep getting the following message when attempting to start a new recording: “Failed to Start ClickLearn Recording Process” This is the first time I’ve received  a message like this.  Any ideas why or how to fix?

Template

Hi, we have at the moment around 30 Authors in different locations who are using ClickLearn.  We are looking for a nice solution how everybody can use the same customized Template. Especially for changes in the Speech Editor and the Recording Template. Currently most of my colleagues saved their template locally or on their VM’s - problem: When we update the Template (for e.g. with customizations for a new connector) every author has to change to the new template as well and all local changes  on the Speech Editor are lost. What are your best practices - can all the authors work on the same template? What are pros and cons of saving the Template to a network drive?
