I’m currently working on a series of APTs in order for us to automate our AST testing. I had hoped to write short recordings, and connect them together using the Test functionality. However I’m struggling to get them to connect together easily, as it doesn’t seem like scenario data setup for 1 recording is available to the next recording, instead it asks for the data again.For example, I have three recordings that do the followingCreate and Release Purchase Requisition Find Purchase Requisition Convert Purchase Requisition Line to Purchase OrderWhen connected into a test, I setup the part data differently per scenario. So scenario 1 wants Part Number LEGO-BROWN, Scenario 2 wants Part Number LEGO-TEAL, etc.This works easily for creating/releasing the requisition, and then I can use the screenshot capture to get the PR number in order to do recording #2.However when I get to recording #3, I want to select the requisition

I’ve got a recording where I search for a set of records and then for all of them that I’ve found I want to perform an action. I’m trying to use the Select All button in IFS cloud (see below screenshot) but this never seems to work in my recordings. I’ve tried moving the mouse position around but that doesn’t seem to help, the replay always fails.Is this a known bug or am I missing something?Is there another way to do an action on all records found in clicklearn without the API? We created the issue, that recordings are only available in one language?Other language we receive the message No image present - replay requiredHowever Replay is not possible. 

When editing our recorded course modules starting from the Written Editor, do we have to set up questions via Flow Editor in order for the Test Me and Try Me videos to function properly?

Is it possible to use URL-Links with placeholders for different IFS-systems?We want to use links into the IFS system with project defined server-address.example:https://<server>:<port>/main/ifsapplications/web/page/DocumentRevision/FormThe parameter ‘server’ and ‘port’ should be defined global in the ClickLearn-Project.With that feature, it is possible to compile the project for a training-system and live-system without changing all the links in the recordings.

Hi. Please advise whether it is possible to move recordings from one project to another. ‘Move file to’ only seems to allow movement within a project rather than between projects.

I have created a set of steps on Installing ClickLearn for our users. I have created this using screen shots and put them in a Word Doc. Is it possible to import that Word Doc into ClickLearn?Thanks Penny

Hi,  I’m currently working for a client that only allows me to work via citrix and remote desktop, I need to create content for a software, but I can’t seem to get ClickLearn to record steps on the remote desktop even though its running on my laptop. Any advise?

Back in March 2022 you showed me how to remove the shortcuts that CL captured when recording from our POS system.I would like to turn these back on.I am not looking to use the CL shortcuts but the ones related to our POS system. Can you tell me how to do this please?

I am going to be running some training for our Authors on how to use ClickLearn. I would love to use ClickLearn to record this process, however, my ClickLearn currently only records D365 Fin & Ops. How can I do this or do I need to use a third party product (which seems ironic) but also which one?Thanks Penny

Is it possible to create a PowerPoint template where the instructions appear at the side of the screen shot rather than underneath?Thanks Penny

Is there a way to record just certain fields in Adobe?  I want to show a .pdf file and record which fields need to be edited, but when I start to record I can only capture the entire document. I know that I can edit the size of the image in ClickLearn to show just a portion, but this is not what I wanted to do.

Is there a way to edit all input screen captures to show the entire screen? As of now, they are all set to “Crop to click area”. When you have over 250 steps, it would be useful to set some properties as a batch to the whole file.

I have some images in which the red highlight is not in the correct location. I was able to use the image editor to move it to the correct place however, the recorded image still shows it incorrectly. Is there a way to fix the image to reflect the change?Thank you

To keep control with which recordings are under development and which are ready to be used by the end users, they are placed in a “Draft” folder until they are added to the structure. When they are added to the structure, they are moved to a “Published” folder.The recordings in the draft folder are not yet added to the structure.Why is it that these recordings still show up in the Localization list?They are creating extra work by having to go and check which recordings are in the structure (and should be translated) and which that are still only a draft.Only the recordings that are in a structure should be included in the Localization.This is in version 12.1.9.0 (MSI)Br Hans

Hi ClickLearn,After having published the newest recordings and verified that they are available in the ClickLearn Portal, the same new recordings are not available for use in the ClickLearn Assistant in the IFS Cloud environment.Do we need to update the ClickLearn Assistant URL to get the newest recordings included in the ClickLearn Assistant?It looks like the new URL is the same URL as the existing one in the “ClickLearn Assist Configuration”?Br Hans

When the ClickLearn Assist Config has been done, the Assistant is showing up in all our 3 environments, but it will only assist the users in English.Our IFS Cloud is only in English, but our ClickLearn materials are published in English, Portuguese and Arabic.How can the ClickLearn Assist be used by in Cloud the employees that need to see it in Portuguese or Arabic?/Hans
