Feature spotlight: Numbering in recording template

If you want to use numbering in your recordings, to make your content more structured and easier to consume, here is a feature you will appreciate.You can now enable auto-numbering on steps using a setting in the publishing template in your project. There are two settings – “Steps” and “Steps – reset each section”. To enable either of them, go to the Project Settings, Publishing Template, Recording Entity and look for Numbering in the right-side menu, as shown below. The setting “Steps” will enable numbering on each step, consecutively through the entire recording. The setting “Steps – reset each section” will enable numbering on each step consecutively through each section. This feature update relates to version 12.1.0.32 and older, of ClickLearn Attain.

Hello!Are there any recommendations regarding the display format? Every time I use the replay function, the green rectangle does not appear in the same place as in the original recording, with the result that the replay doesn’t work. I think this question has been asked before but I cannot find an answer. I would like to know how to find out which users have passed their Test Me evaluations. I have used Odata to populate an Excel spreadsheet and also have successfully uploaded the Odata into Power BI, but I cannot find what the fields represent, is there a list somewhere. I would also like to know how to check the user’s evaluation score. One of the users has told me (and screenshotted that they got 92% in their Detailed Evaluation) but I cannot find this information in the Odata or anywhere else. Please help - thanks Penny

Test Me video - click speed

Hello,please advise if it is possible to alter how long the user has to click on the correct option in the Test Me videos. Sometimes it can take a little while of searching to find the correct field.Also is it possible to pause the Test Me video if a user is interrupted by an urgent call when they are part of the way through the Test Me video.Many thanks Penny

Did you know that you can build and share a URL to automatically launch a user directly into a Showme video? Just add: &t=showme to the end of an existing recording URL ! Republished content with multiple URL's

It seems every time I update/republish my videos the system will create a new URL. How do I continue to just update the existing URL instead of sending out new links every time I update?Thank you

Download portal as PDF from ClickLearn Studio

So I know you can turn on the option for users to download your portal content as PDF.I have this turned off because I want users to use the videos instead. However, I’d like to download a PDF copy of the portal myself, for my own reference as author.Is it possible to do this from the Studio application itself, or do I need to turn on the option > publish to portal > download PDF > then turn off the option > re-publish to portal ? (The latter being time-consuming and inconvenient)

ClickLearn Recording Saved but not updated

Hello,one of our authors spent about 3 hours editing his recording. He saved as he went along. This content had not yet been published. His laptop re-start itself (pesky Microsoft updates) and all of the work he had completed was lost. His recording only showed what was there when he started his 3 hour edit.The activity logs don’t even show that he had been in the recording at all for over 2 weeks but he was working on it 5 days ago.Is there anywhere that this update recording could be? After all he saved it multiple times. Our authors are very busy and we can’t afford for them to be losing 3 hours worth of work. This is not the first time that this has happened to this particular author.Thanks Penny

Unable to edit a field in Data editor which requires input from user

When using Replay you would like to change the input recorded before in an input field in the recorded application. However, While recording, ClickLearn did nog define that field as an input field, so you cannot change any text that was entered before. How can I change the type of field. CoPilot states that it is possible does not tell exactly how. Yes, using custom scripts but I don’t know how.

Uploading SCORM files from Click Learn to a LMS

When enabling the SCORM package within Click Lean, it appears to load the entire Learning portal into one SCORM file. When loading that SCORM file to an LMS, the file does not communicate correctly. Is there a way to load SCORM files individually for individual recordings within Click Learn? Thanks!

So far, I've found that the tool functions smoothly for web-based applications, effectively capturing screens and providing instructions based on mouse movements and clicks.However, I've encountered some difficulties when using ClickLearn with Windows-based applications, particularly with capturing screens from the installation wizard of my application. Not capturing clicks or hovers

I’ve tried recording a process multiple times but while it’s capturing the relevant screen section, it’s not capturing the areas I’m hovering or clicking on. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you fix it. The process I’m trying to capture is tracking emails to Dynamics from Outlook. It captures the ‘To’ field and the D365 plug in and nothing from there.
