Publishing Content in Attain to Our Company Web Server

Is it possible to publish our content in Attain to our own secure Web server instead of to ContentCloud? Or, is it possible to secure the content when publishing to ContentCloud so it is not public content, but rather private - accessible only to our employees?

How can I adapt my Project structure?

Hello,I would like to know if I can adapt my project structure in that way that I can implement the look/appearance of the navigation section. Please have a look at the following screenshot: Hopefully it is possible to adapt this structure or maybe choose between these two options. I just created a project and attempted to import Clicklearn Classic recording and I have a message that the projecy  is locked.I am the Admin on the project, How do I unlock it and why did this happen?

Is it possible to link from one published recording to another? For example, we want to add a link in the PDF version of a recording to another recording pdf.

Replubishing updated recordings

I made a text mistake in one of my recordings.I went into the recording and updated the text.I checked the preview (AOK)I save the recording, did a refresh in the recordings panel.Went through all the publshing steps once more.But when I go to the website, it still shows the old text.I also tried removing the recording from the structure and replacing it. None of these have worked, any idea how to update this?TIARobert

Attain: Replay stopping due to error is steps

We are slowly moving over from Classic to Attain and when replaying I come across issues where I see a message to say a step has changed since it was recorded and replay cannot continue until the step is resolved.  When I check the recording, there is no issue and nothing has changed and I see a red warning triangle on the step > how can I tell what the issue is and why Attain cannot replay?

Unable to stop recording with ctrl+ctrl

I am making instructions for IFS10 IEE  and I am suddenly unable to stop recording neither by pressing both ctrl keys nor ctrl + shift with mouse pointer un the upper left corner. Have to terminate the program with Alt+F4 Any tips ?Dan

Pictures and pathnames

Good morning,I’m new to ClickLearn and trying to get my head around the issue whereby when you add a picture to a ClickLearn script (in a Note), you have to select the picture from a drive and the full path is entered. Can you use UNC path names here? The reason I ask is because we are developing many scripts for a client but the client is going to build the shelf and the chapters themselves. If we create the scripts on our laptops but put the images into a network folder would this work (etc etc).Thanks.

Conditionally including steps in video?

I’m running into issues trying to conditionally include steps in my video. Here’s what I’m doing:Create a “Have a question?” step. Create a section or group of steps. Go into the Flow Editor and create a condition to include that section in the instruction process.The problem is the video still includes the steps in the section/group with the condition regardless of the answer that is submitted. The only fix I found was to add a condition to every step, which seems a bit inefficient. Am I missing something when setting this up, or is it potentially a bug? Thanks in advance for the answers :)

ClickLearn help requires login to access Help

Hi all, When customers click on the assist or help icon in Dynamics 365, they are prompted to login to access the content. I want them to be able to access the content without having to login.I edited sharing to “Anyone with Link ( No Login required)”, on both the Shelf and Assist.This is Dynamics 365 8.2.x, on prem, and ClickLearn classic.Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

How to convert JSV.HTM files to MP4 in ClickLearn Classic

Hello Community, In Classic, we need to know once we stop Producing the old WMV format videos and just produce only the HTML video, how can we:view these effectively from the View > HTML Video (menu).. it does load in the browser with a long URL, but there are no visible media controls and all it seems to do is allow me to  click through the fields in :”practice mode” what is the best way to view these. convert the JSV.HTM files into MP4 videos with all the audio and subtitles included as well.If anyone can help, we would really appreciate it.  Thank You guys! Regards, Jim and Jasmine at Austal Ships.

How do you produce a file in Attain?

In ClickLearn Classic there is a step to produce the documents (Word, pdf, etc.) and video files in order to generate them. How do you product the documents and video files in Attain? I don’t see that function.

Change File Location

How is “Change File Location” used in ClickLearn Classic. I have documentation created in different network locations and I’d like to consolidate them. If I right-click on a recording in ClickLearn and select “Change File Location” it wants me to open a file instead. There’s something I’m not understanding here and I’m not finding documentation on it in any references - only documentation for ClickLearn Attain.

Change translation and text font sizes for the whole recording?

Hi. I’ve been translating the recordings by going to each instruction text and clicking the globe on the right side of it. I click on auto translation afterwards. I would really need a more quicker way to do it for the whole recording? How do I do that? Also, I want to have bigger font sizes for the subtitles and instructions text. How do I change that for the whole recording?

Why does Click Learn not record my clicks?

I have been recording some processes and have waited for the green box to appear before I click the links in the process I am doing and once recording is done, Click learn only recorded around 3 of the actions over 10 actions.I am working on IFS Aurena. I have installed the google chrome plug in.

Workflow of development - review, approval and upload to live environment

Hi there,I have a Review project in ClickLearn Attain in which I send out the training for review and approval before uploading to the live environment. I develop in the Main project folder and import the recordings in to the Review project. I do this so I know the main project file is the updated version, rather than developing in Review and uploading to Main. However each time I update and save over the recording in Review, I need to attach any images again - even though these images are in the Review folder, the association with replacing the updated recording has been lost.Is there are way to reference a recording in one project, and when updated, updates in a different project?Or is there a more efficient workflow when developing and sending out review recordings and then uploading to live environment?Many thanks,Tam

changing the structure layout

Hi againI am enjoying CL Attain, but I have so many questions. Please forgive me if they have already been answered. I do try to search first before I ask my question.I saw one of your posts about structuring the modules, however I saw the structure layout looked very different than mine. I actually prefer your layout.Can you tell me how I can go about changing how my portal looks?The image below reflects my current portal… How can I change this? Your post showed icons with the recordings and headings within the structure.I would love to make this more attractive to our audience.We know we can modify the icon and colour but would love to make the layout better.Thanks Lorie D
