I have a Book on a Shelf, but the Book icon appears as a "?".  How do I get the Book icon back?

Good afternoon! I was wondering if anyone using Dynamics 365 and trying to produce a CRM Help has run into this warning? The entire verbiage: The producer reported the following: “D365 CRM INSIDE HELP: Warning: No assist repository available for language 1033 - English (United States). Please make sure that Main Content has been defined for this language.” My Main Content has “1033 - English...” checked, as do all of my recordings/books/shelfs/CRM Help. Any ideas? I wonder if this has anything to do with my publishing and none of my books/shelfs/recordings showing up in the Portal? Thanks in advance!! Kori

We are create user documentation for a new Business Central App we have created and Clicklearn is fine for 90% of what we have needed. The issue I have run into is that I have an Appendix sections which explains the theory and examples of the embedded calculations that run in the background. I cannot record the theory using Clicklearn but want to rather embed the word document (10 Pages) into my project so when I publish or produce it includes the word document at the end of the document. Have not found a way to do this. Note that I have tried using the Notes functionality but have found that this does not support what I need to do as cannot format effectively and is very time consuming. 

Understanding that the ClickAssist avatar needs to begin at a place in the application that is intuitive for the user, we’ve modified our recordings to start from the main menu and then navigate to the actual starting point for the instruction. Prior to this, the user would be on a page and activate the instruction but there would be no “bridge” to get the Assistant to the correct starting point… The issue is that in every recording where we start on the left hand navigation for D365 CE and then go to a list of records and then select *any* record, the Assistant just spins going from the Main menu to the list view. How is it possible to know for sure that the Assistant can find its way? I’ve tested using the Assistance menu and changing it from yes to “Force Next” thinking that might be able to skip a step but that didn’t work. My customer is getting frustrated that we can’t produce a recording for ClickAssist that seamlessly flows all the way through with no hiccups. The recordings wo

When we produce and preview content locally the Show Me Audio works fine.  When we publish the exact same recording to the ClickLearn Portal, audio of each step gets clipped short.  It doesn’t seem to matter what the length of the text is.  We have even noticed this problem with content in ClickLearn help portal.  For example:   https://help.clicklearn.com/ClickLearn%20Learning%20Portal/ClickLearn%20Learning%20Portal.htm?b=Product%20Documentation&r=Introduction How are folks resolving or getting around this issue?  

Hi - great day today at the virtual User Day. Will the content from today be placed on the main portal or within the community area somewhere?

One of our primary use cases for ClickLearn is the replay capabilities that should keep us from having rerecord videos every time there is an upgrade or change.  I have just started “playing” with this feature, and I find it quite involved. Does anyone have success stories to share? How have you used Replay and what are your tips and tricks for ensuring success (without a lot of overhead). Hi guys   My aim is to create ClickLearn content using a modular approach. Let’s say I have a parent process A which contains child-processes x, y, z. The child-processes could be used across parent processes. Say, parent process B also contains child-process y and z.    I tried using the Replay Recording function, which states “Another recording may be startet [sic] before proceeding with the next step in this recording.”  This is exactly what I am after, unfortunately I could not get it to work. Below are the steps I took:   I created, replayed and published two recordings: Parent Recording and Child Recording   The Child Recording is made up of 1 step:   The Parent Recording has 3 steps, one of them being the replay of the Child Recording:   The final produced material of Parent Recording:   The child recording step is missing.   I have ensured to use the correct network file path of the child recording.   What am I missing?   Any ideas are highly appreciated.   Cheers Lukas

I am just learning ClickLearn. In an effort to teach myself, I decided to replay videos that had been recorded previously.  Even if I use the raw unedited recording, ClickLearn still cannot find any steps during the replay. I have been playing with the template...could that be why?  Does anyone have any tips or tricks, or should I just submit a case. Thank you!

I am having an issue in my recordings in Dynamics CRM where I can only capture the outer window, not the individual fields.  I put in a support ticket but wondered if anyone on here could help me in the meantime so I can work over the weekend.

I keep getting the following message when attempting to start a new recording: “Failed to Start ClickLearn Recording Process” This is the first time I’ve received  a message like this.  Any ideas why or how to fix?
