I tried using the following different CL connectors to no avail: Windows Applications; Web Applications; Microsoft Power BI Web App. It is not recognising anything in the product. No green window to record. Please advise how to achieve this recording.
Hello All,I’ve installed the ClickLearn Edge extension into Edge AOK but each time I start CLickLearn Studio 12.0.0.200 I get the messageHowever when I run up ClickLearn Studio 12.0.0.200 and login AOK I can’t see any “Tools-Preferences” menu options - this is all that I see - an empty project screen:I have confirmed that the registry is being updated to show the Native Messaging has been registered for ClickLearn (and I copied this key into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE too just in case): Yet when I start Edge I get the green outline with the message “In order to record form your browser, please install the clicklearn extension first”Is there something I have missed?Thankyou
How do I Publish just one item at a time? We have a large group object and if I update 1 of the recordings - how do I only re-publish or publish the one I am working on as others on the project are working at a different pace than I am? Also trying to figure out how to extract a PDF of the work instructions.
Hello, Upon installation of ClickLearn Studio and login to the Portal I initally followed the instructions listed to installed the ClickLean Chrome Connector. ClickLearn Pop-up for connector given on browser startup However, upon subsequent openings of my Google Chrome browser, I am continually receiving this popup despite it already being installed in present. Is there some setting that would stop this from reoccurring that I have overlooked?Thanks in advance, Marc

We are create user documentation for a new Business Central App we have created and Clicklearn is fine for 90% of what we have needed. The issue I have run into is that I have an Appendix sections which explains the theory and examples of the embedded calculations that run in the background. I cannot record the theory using Clicklearn but want to rather embed the word document (10 Pages) into my project so when I publish or produce it includes the word document at the end of the document. Have not found a way to do this. Note that I have tried using the Notes functionality but have found that this does not support what I need to do as cannot format effectively and is very time consuming.
We are currently using IFS v10 IFS Enterprise IEE and would like to configure & migrate Permission sets in IEEE to the users so they can use Aurena. Thus we need to setup projections.The Tech team are having challenges in going to each profiles permission set and Granting access to the projections one by one. For example we have a few users who only have 4 permission sets but they are Internal Audit and they have Read only access to all the objects. Our team has to go the the list under the projection tab and grant each object seperately which is time consuming.Any tips & tricks on how we can semi automate this process. We ae talking over 250 users which permission sets unqiue to each user.Any Manuals or videos on setting up Aurena would be appreciatedregardsGuss
Hi all, I’ve just been watching Morten’s video on working with recording Apps as I need to record steps on a HHT. I’ve got all my images taken and saved. However, I’m struggling with cropping/adjusting my saved image… Morten does it very quickly in his video and I’m struggling to capture a new area to select and then crop the image. My red and green boxes don’t want to shift in size and aren’t very flexible! Is there a beginners video on cropping images as I must be missing something obvious! Thanks.
When we produce and preview content locally the Show Me Audio works fine. When we publish the exact same recording to the ClickLearn Portal, audio of each step gets clipped short. It doesn’t seem to matter what the length of the text is. We have even noticed this problem with content in ClickLearn help portal. Hello Community, In Classic, we need to know once we stop Producing the old WMV format videos and just produce only the HTML video, how can we:view these effectively from the View > HTML Video (menu).. it does load in the browser with a long URL, but there are no visible media controls and all it seems to do is allow me to click through the fields in :”practice mode” what is the best way to view these. convert the JSV.HTM files into MP4 videos with all the audio and subtitles included as well.If anyone can help, we would really appreciate it. Suggestion - we need to be able to format notes - e.g. add font effects like bold or underline and have support for an <a> tag for a link (as opposed to just pasting a link). To me this is quite a limitation in the software, I’ve read in places you don’t allow it to keep formatting consistent between authors (not sure if this is true), but at the end of the day, that should be for the organization to manage, not you to decide. Just omit <tags> from your other outputs including the text-to-speech. As for placing links within a note; for example to link to a sub-chapter within the recording, the problem is that this information also shows up in the PDF file as plain text and can be quite sloppy and confusing for viewers. I’m assuming there’s no way to have two notes; and dictate which note appears in which outputted version (e.g. have a note for web only, and then another note for word/pdf/etc)?

(If you have a process and during the process the user needs to make a decision, or follow different steps depending on the outcome of the previous step) e.g. Some steps previous Does the customer exist in our system? If yes → go this route and do a few more steps If no → go this route and do other steps Return at some point to some final shared steps Thanks -Kevan
HiIs it possible to crop the overall screen size that appears on the Try Me, Test Me videos. This is the area that has the purple line around it in the thumbnail editor.The screen areas in green and red are fine, but I do not what the area displaying my desktop to appear on the videos, which it currently does (see attached).
Has anyone found a way to embed a Showme video in a web page?Playing with video.js, but it can’t seem to read the clicklearn output. I am currently linking to the showme directly using a Community tip (thanks Michael), but it returns to the clicklearn portal rather than my page.And it is a link… I’d rather embed so the user can watch the video on the same page if they so choose. I should note that my site does not support embedding the windows movie player.

Hi all, We have made a nice video for our offshore users, which we would like to be able to add to our Offshore Learning Portal. This portal currently contain all kind of other trainings video’s, and now we want to add the IFS video’s there as well. Is there a way to download the “show me” video so we can upload that into our Offshore Learning Portal?
